Zinelle October
Executive Vice President
Zinelle October joined ACS in November 2010 and is the Executive Vice President. She serves as a thought partner to the President and focuses on the programmatic, network and external aspects of the organization.
Before joining ACS, October was a national urban fellow at the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials Educational Fund (NALEO). Before her fellowship, October practiced law for six years at firms in Florida and New York.
October currently serves as a National Advisory Committee (NAC) member for the Culture of Health Leadership Institute for Racial Healing. In addition, she is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), National Bar Association (NBA) and Society of American Law Teachers (SALT).
October received her J.D. from Florida State University, her M.P.A. from Baruch College, and her B.A. in history from Columbia University.
