Private: Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to Address ACS National Convention
2012 National Convention, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be a featured speaker at the American Constitution Society’s 2012 National Convention, June 14-16.
The annual convention is an extraordinary opportunity to meet and hear from leading legal and policy experts and to interact with ACS leaders, members and supporters from around the country.
This year’s gathering will include panel discussions and debates on a range of critical legal and policy topics, including racial justice, immigration reform, marriage equality, the states’ legal challenge to the landmark health care reform law, and ongoing gridlock in Congress, especially over judicial nominations. Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) will also deliver featured remarks.
The 2012 convention will be held at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C. and early registration is now open. Visit the convention web page to learn more and register.
