WCL Human Rights Brief Symposium: Day 4
The American University Washington College of Law Human Rights Brief is hosting our annual Symposium on Police Brutality at Home and Abroad. The panels will feature attorneys, professors and activists and be will be held throughout the week of February 15, 2021- February 19, 2021. The panels will be diverse and address a plurality of issues that cause police violence in the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa. More specifically, they will address how race, religion, digital surveillance, and immigration all play into police brutality.
The goal of our symposium is to raise awareness of this global phenomenon and allow practitioners, law students, and professors from all over the world to come together and develop unique solutions to end police brutality.
