Title VII Intersectional Claims
Plaintiffs seeking to bring multi-dimensional discrimination claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 often face unique challenges. Attorney Phillis Rambsy, founder of Rambsy Law, will join us to talk about these issues and how she has observed them in her legal practice. Specifically, Ms. Rambsy will discuss the intersectionality of Title VII claims for plaintiffs who are women of color.
Ms. Phillis Rambsy has a wide range of legal experience, and prior to founding Rambsy Law, she was a litigation attorney and partner at a number of outstanding law firms. She has handled matters involving complex commercial litigation matters; personal injury actions; and employment disputes. Her work in employment law allows Phillis to represent clients in areas of wrongful termination, sexual harassment, race, gender, and age discrimination; and discrimination based on disability. She also represents clients in contract matters, including contract negotiations for employment and severance contracts, and disputes involving non-compete agreements. Ms. Rambsy has obtained successful results by constantly demonstrating skillful negotiations, assertive advocacy, and creative resolutions.
Join WLSA and LSSJ in Flynn Auditorium at 12:30pm on March 25th for this event. Lunch will be provided!
