Reproductive Freedom is Religious Freedom

Kate Cox made national headlines when she had to leave Texas to have her pregnancy terminated after her doctors determined her fetus had a fatal condition. Because Samantha Casiano couldn’t travel out of state, she was forced to carry her nonviable fetus to term. After a difficult birth, her baby died four hours later.

In “Reproductive Freedom is Religious Freedom,” Nancy Friedman, president of the Greater Houston Chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, will explain how abortion bans violate church-state separation and how Texas’ leaders have disregarded Texans’ religious freedom by imposing their narrow religious beliefs on everyone.
