Navigating Clerkships as a Progressive Student

Furman Hall, Classroom 210, New York, NY

Join NYU's chapter of the American Constitution Society (ACS) for a discussion about navigating the clerkship application process as a progressive student. Hear from students with a diverse array of practice area experiences and interests who have secured clerkships with federal district and appellate judges, state supreme court justices, and internationally. Students will answer questions about their general experiences with clerkship applications––particularly planning ahead with letters of recommendations, a writing sample, and managing timing and location expectations––as well as about factors that were important to them as progressive and/or public interest students.
