Join ACS Arizona State chapter host Allen Chaney, ACLU advocate and lead counsel in the Alexander v NAACP of South Carolina case. Mr. Chaney will discuss the case and the future of the fight against gerrymandering and how it affects democracy through a four part presentation covering:

2. Lead up to Alexander.

3. Alexander and Racial gerrymandering.

4. “Free & Open Elections” clauses in state constitutions, and how the spirit of federalism can help in the fight for civil rights.
