Election Results Safe Space

In the wake of the election results (or non-results) a coalition of student organizations: ACS, Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, Black Law Students Association, LAMBDA, Latin American Law Students Association, Jewish Law Students Association, BC Law Democrats, the Good Governance Project, and BC Law National Lawyers Guild wanted to create a safe space for BC Law students to feel a sense of community and unpack their thoughts and feelings about last night. At this event students can discuss the socio-legal implications of the election with their classmates. This event will also be an emotional safe space for the people who are worried and most vulnerable, and one where their classmates can support them and lift up their voices. We will also use this opportunity to determine what space we want to create in the coming weeks to process what happens next.
