Discussion on Former President Trump's Eligibility to Run for Office

ACS will be hosting a panel discussion about the eligibility of President Trump to run for office again, or whether he would be disqualified from state ballots for his role in the January 6th insurrection under the Disqualification Clause.

Panelists will include Prof. Maryam Ahranjani (filed an amicus brief in New Mexico to keep a candiadate off the ballot who had participated in the Jan. 6 insurrection using the 14th Amendment); Prof. Robert Futrell, Chair of UNLV's sociology department; Debra Perlin of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington; Donald Sherman of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington; and Laura Martin, Executive Director of the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada.
