Democratizing Reform of the Supreme Court

Think the Supreme Court needs fixing? So do we! Join ACS for an event with Professors Ryan Doerfler of the University of Chicago Law School and Samuel Moyn of Yale Law School regarding their extensive work around democratizing reforms of the Supreme Court. By shifting some of the Court’s considerable power back to the popular legislative process, they believe that the Judiciary can recede from its current outsized role in American politics. Professor Jeff Fisher will serve as the moderator and help guide the initial discussion as well as student Q&A.

Lunch will be served in Crocker Garden starting at 12:45 PM for all those who RSVP by EOD Thursday 2/17. The panel discussion will then take place inside a SLS classroom from 1-2p.
