Commemoration/Remembrance of Justice Ginsburg with Four Former Clerks

On Friday, the legal community lost one of its giants. Ruth Bader Ginsburg inspired generations of lawyers and law students through her advocacy for women's rights as a litigator and her tireless work to promote and protect civil rights over the course of her 27 years of service on the nation's highest court.

Justice Ginsburg's life influenced the lives, careers, and dreams of so many of us at Michigan Law. From the professors who clerked for her, to the students who chose to attend law school because of her, as well as the members of our community whose lives have been directly affected by her championship of equality-our community exists as it does because of her.

Join the University of Michigan Law School ACS Student Chapter, Monday, September 21, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM ET as we welcome former RBG clerks and current Michigan Law professors, Kate Andrias, Scott Hershovitz, Richard Primus, and Eli Savit for a chance to hear them share their memories of their time with the Justice and celebrate her legacy.

We hope this remembrance will provide our community with the opportunity to come together in appreciation for and in celebration of an incredible life.
