All the Women Are White, All the Black People Are Men: Title VII Does Not Cover Me
Robert C. Khayat Law Center, Room 1115, Oxford, MS
This will be a conversation on Supreme Court rhetoric and whether or not it has adequately addressed Black women's distinct position under the law. We will be partnering with ACLU and OUTlaw. We will display excerpts of court opinions and have an open discussion about what the court's language means for Black women and other minorities. There is no RSVP required. We plan to serve food.
