Affirmative Action, Reparations, and the Fight for Equal Opportunity Under the Law

Join ACS, APILSA, BLSA, NALSA, SLLSA, OutLaw, and WOCC for a conversation with Don Tamaki and Sarah Belton to discuss the work that the California Reparations Task Force has done to address the legacy of racial inequity in the United States. Don and Sarah will also address the Supreme Court's recent decision banning affirmative action, the relationship between legacy admission and systemic racism, and how we can move forward and make higher education more accessible and equitable. Lunch will be served. 1-2 PM.
