ACS Presents: Holding Gun Makers Liable After Mass Shootings
Come hear Josh Koskoff, of Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder, talk about his lawsuit on behalf of the families of Sandy Hook victims seeking to hold Remington, a manufacturer of AR-15s liable under Connecticut state law. The Connecticut Supreme Court recently held that the families can sue the gun manufacturer after a shooter killed 26 at Newtown Elementary School using one of the company’s rifles. Remington has already filed a petition for certiorari with the Supreme Court.
Koskoff has made a career as a plaintiff’s-side lawyer, representing the vulnerable in several high-profile cases, including one against Harvard University demanding it return pictures of an enslaved individual to his descendant, and one against Alex Jones for defamation.
Shake Shack will be served.
