ACS MSP: Nominations for the ACS Justice David L. Lillehaug Award

We are now accepting nominations for the Fourth Annual Justice David L. Lillehaug Award for Distinguished Leadership (nomination form) through December 31. 

The Justice David L. Lillehaug Award for Distinguished Leadership was established to recognize a local leader who has gone above and beyond in assisting ACS and/or the local progressive community to advance a vision of the Constitution and law which enhances individual rights and liberties, genuine equality, access to justice, democracy, and the rule of law.

Last year's recipient of this award was Jerry Blackwell for his lifetime of progressive leadership and his critical role in the prosecution of Derek Chauvin. Karl Procaccini, General Counsel and Deputy Chief of Staff for Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan, and Katherine Roe, Federal Defender for the District of Minnesota, are also past recipients. 

As a quick reminder, current elected officials are not eligible for this award.
