ACS Milwaukee: Are Changes Coming? A Panel Discussion on the Wisconsin Constitution
The Wisconsin Constitution is at the center of so many controversial issues currently working their way through Wisconsin’s judicial system. Abortion, school choice, redistricting, voting rights, religious liberty, separation of powers—these are just a few examples of the types of state constitutional claims Wisconsin judges are now deliberating. What does the Wisconsin Constitution have to say about these issues? What considerations will be front of mind for the jurists who decide them? How will these decisions impact other areas of Wisconsin law? Join the ACS Milwaukee and Madison Lawyer Chapters, the Milwaukee Bar Association, and the Milwaukee Federalist Society for a panel discussion featuring legal minds from across the political spectrum. The program will be led by the Dean of the Marquette University School of Law, Joseph D. Kearney.
