ACS Chicago: “Vote for US” with Josh Douglas
Join the ACS Chicago Lawyer Chapter and Volumes Bookcafe for a discussion with Professor Josh Douglas on his new book Vote for US: How to Take Back Our Elections and Change the Future of Voting.
An expert on US election law, Douglas presents an encouraging assessment of current efforts to make our voting system more accessible, reliable, and effective. He tells the stories of how everyday Americans are working to take back our democracy, one community at a time, by expanding voter eligibility, easing registration rules, making voting more convenient, enhancing accessibility, taking back redistricting, transforming civics education, fixing campaign finance, and more.
The book includes an appendix of organizations all over the country working on these efforts, so you can affect change in your own community!
