ACS California Chapters: Untraditional Pathways to the Bench: A Conversation with Three California Jurists
On Tuesday, May 25 at 1:30PM Pacific (4:30PM Eastern), please join the ACS Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Diego, Bay Area, Colorado, DC, and Orange County Lawyer Chapters for a conversation with California Supreme Court Justice Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Maria Lucy Armendariz, and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California Judge Vince Chhabria about their careers and their journeys to the bench from diverse personal and professional backgrounds.
This event is part of ACS's broader Path to the Bench Initiative, which is aimed at developing a highly qualified pool of legal professionals dedicated to long-term, positive change and a fair judiciary, with a special emphasis on creating opportunities to join the bench from individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, and practice areas.
