ACS CA: The Constitution and Voting Rights: A Conspicuous Failure

Zoom

To understand the source of the crises currently threatening the survival of our system of government, we must look to our history. The delegates’ omissions from the US Constitution have spawned significant misconceptions that now threaten the survival of our system of government. It is therefore vital to explore these omissions.

Please join the ACS San Diego, Bay Area, and Los Angles Lawyer Chapters in welcoming, Lawrence Goldstone, author of the groundbreaking new book, Imperfect Union, and National Book Award finalist Professor Adam Winkler (UCLA), as they discuss why the delegates’ refusal to include uniform standards for voting in national elections has haunted the United States’ quest to be a true democracy from its inception to this very day.
