ACS & APALSA Breakfast Reception with Justice Goodwin Liu
On Tuesday, April 12, we will co-host a breakfast reception with APALSA for Justice Goodwin Liu from 9:00-9:45 on the North Patio! For those who cannot make the breakfast, there will be a reception in the library from 10:00-10:45 for the Dean’s Leadership Fellows, which our members can attend as well.
Justice Liu will give a Henry Lecture at 12:30 pm in the Dick Bell Courtroom about implicit bias, structural bias, and implications for law and policy. Justice Liu is remarkably accomplished—a graduate of Stanford, Oxford (on a Rhodes Scholarship), and Yale Law School, law clerk to Judge Tatel of the D.C. Circuit and Justice Ginsburg of SCOTUS, law professor at Berkeley and Harvard, and elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and American Law Institute. He’s incredibly warm and generous.
