ACS and BLSA Present: Kim Foxx

Join the ACS UChicago Law Student Chapter and BLSA for a Q&A with Cook County’s top prosecutor, Kim Foxx. On December 1, 2016 Ms. Foxx became the first Black woman to lead the Cook County State’s Attorney office, which is the second largest prosecutor’s office in the country. Since elected she has prioritized bail and pretrial detention reform, increasing the transparency of the prosecutor’s office, reducing incarceration rates, etc. Our very own Professor Sharon Fairley, who is a former prosecutor, will be moderating this talk.
