A Conversation on the Contemporary Political Climate
In conversation with ACS William and Mary student chapter mentor, Professor Eric Kades, we are excited to welcome Professor Jared Yates Sexton.
This event will allow us to gain a deeper understanding of Sexton’s personal experiences as a political journalist and the general tenor of the American public’s reaction to political journalism after the 2016 election. We will also discuss Sexton’s most recent book American Rule: How a Nation Conquered the World but Failed Its People.
By drawing upon Sexton’s credentials as an author, regular contributor to the New York Times and the New Republic, and Associate Professor of Writing and Linguistics at Georgia Southern University this event will feature a truly well-rounded discussion.
We hope to see you there!
