Balanced Budget Amendment Briefing with Neil J. Kinkopf and Walter Dellinger

With the House of Representatives scheduled to vote on a balanced budget amendment, ACS is releasing an ACS Issue Brief warning that passage of such an amendment would “threaten to tear irrevocably the fabric of our constitutional structure.” On Wednesday, November 16, ACS hosted a press call featuring the Issue Brief’s author, separation of powers expert Neil Kinkopf, and former acting solicitor general Walter Dellinger, to discuss the constitutional implications of the latest amendment proposal.
