Washington, DC – Today, the American Constitution Society held a virtual graduation to recognize the brilliance and passion of its Class of 2022 ACS Leaders. At the Ceremony, the American Constitution Society also presented its annual student chapter awards to recognize the achievements of its Student Chapters.

ACS recognizes the pressures student leaders are faced with in and outside of the classroom. Nevertheless, each graduate remained steadfast in their commitment towards higher learning and working to improve the lives of all people. “Now more than ever – we need students who have the tenacity, optimism, and determination to face adversity within our legal systems head on, in order to diversify and restore hope in our democracy” says ACS President Russ Feingold.

In addition to Feingold, the graduates heard special remarks from Zinelle October, ACS’s Executive Vice President and Adam Miller, the Deputy General Counsel & Director of Judicial Appointments for the Office of Governor Tim Walz & Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan. Adam is also the Co-President of the ACS Minneapolis-St. Paul Lawyer Chapter. They also received a commencement address from the Honorable Loren L. AliKhan, Associate Judge, D.C. Court of Appeals.
