ACS Board of Directors member Donald B. Verrilli, Jr. and ACS Board of Advisors member Walter E. Dellinger III are co-leading a special litigation unit for Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.

ACS Faculty Advisor at Loyola Law School Jessica Levinson authored an op-ed in NBC News about what’s at stake if the President and the Senate rush to fill Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat on the Supreme Court, including the unraveling of her work and the legitimacy of our governmental institutions.

ACS Next Generation Leader Kevin Witenoff authored an op-ed in The Tennessean identifying “Republicans’ chance to shrink our country’s growing divide” by refusing to vote on a nominee prior to the election.

ACS Tampa Lawyer Chapter leader William Myers authored an op-ed in the Tampa Bay Times on the Republican Party’s attempt to “once again, [] pack the Supreme Court. “

ACS Chicago Lawyer Chapter Co-Chair Dan Cotter authored a piece in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin about how states continue to face challenges to coronavirus pandemic orders, and letters to the editor in the Chicago Tribune and the Louisville Courier Journal about Senator McConnell’s focus on power.

ACS Northeast Ohio Lawyer Chapter Board of Advisors Chair Sarah Rathke authored an op-ed in Cleveland.com about the need for us to continue Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s fight for a more perfect union, and to take every opportunity to express that “Republicans cannot control the selection of our next United States Supreme Court justice through partisan politics.”
