Honoring Dr. King’s Vision Through Deeds

On Martin Luther King. Jr. Day and throughout the year, ACS honors Dr. King’s legacy by continuing the unfinished work that he began. Throughout the past year, ACS has convened various events and released numerous publications (see below) that align with Dr. King’s vision.

• During the 2019 National Convention, ACS recognized lawyer and civil rights icon Bryan Stevenson with our Lifetime Achievement Award for his work to combat the injustices in our criminal legal system, particularly for people of color.
