Femicide in Puerto Rico

This event consists of a panel with four guests and a moderator. The moderator will guide a conversation discussing femicide, beginning with the history and legislation of this crime, defining it within the Criminal Code (what it is and what it is not), followed by the handling of various cases, and finally addressing the different efforts to prevent future femicides. The aim of this event is to create a space for an in-depth discussion on the topic, covering all bases and offering diverse perspectives. After the panel, which is scheduled to last an hour and a half, food and refreshments will be provided for the audience.
