Previewing Democracy in 2024

With the election upcoming, this event will talk about state pre-emption, election administration, and cases to watch. For the first two, Professor Sellers will give an introduction of the topics and Professor Marziani will talk about how these issues are experienced in Texas. For cases to watch, Professor Sellers will focus on federal cases, while Professor Marziani will focus on Texas cases. At the end, Professor Marziani will give some examples of internship and volunteer opportunities that will deal with these issues.

We're excited to host this event as one of our chapter's 2 flagship events this semester. Both professors are well-known and experts in their fields, and we expect strong attendance.
