ACS with Andy Gaona: Arizona Abortion Access Ballot Initiative

Please join ACS, the Liberty Project, and attorney Andy Gaona for a lunchtime discussion on the state of abortion access in Arizona and litigating state ballot initiatives. In November 2024, Arizonans will have the opportunity to vote on the Arizona Right to Abortion Initiative. This initiative would establish the fundamental right to abortion that the state of Arizona may not interfere with before the point of fetal viability unless justified by a compelling state interest. 

Andy Gaona is an attorney with Coppersmith Brockelman focusing on election, political, and public law. Andy is currently working with the coalition spearheading the Arizona Right to Abortion Initiative. 

This event will take place Tuesday, January 23 from 12:15-1:15pm in Room 450 at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. Lunch will be served!
