The New York Times - Democrats Reach Milestone: 100 New District Court Judges

ACS President Russ Feingold was quoted in The New York Times, in which he lauds the Biden administration's 100th District Court Judge Confirmation today, surpassing the pace of the Trump administration. While Feingold commends the Biden administration's success, he also calls on the Senate to expand its calendar to further confirm more judges.

“It is a good thing so far,” said Russ Feingold, a former Democratic senator from Wisconsin who now heads the American Constitution Society. “It would be terrible shame to not continue that work in an aggressive manner over the next year, year and a half. We believe the Senate has to expand the calendar.”
