Student Debt Relief at the Supreme Court
The Stanford Chapter of the American Constitution Society (ACS), and First Generation and Low Income Professionals (FLI) invite you to join us on March 6 at 12:45 in room 180 for a lunchtime discussion on student debt relief. The conversation will on focus two cases before the Supreme Court, Biden v. Nebraska and Department of Education v. Brown, that are challenging the Biden Administration’s student loan forgiveness plan. Panelists will discuss the current landscape of student debt relief, overview legal arguments behind these cases, and preview their potential to shape Supreme Court doctrine. Panelists will include constitutional law Professor Bernadette Meyler and practitioner Mary Day from Housing and Economic Rights Advocates. Food will be provided upon RSVP.
