Monique Smith

Database Associate

Monique Smith (she/her) joined ACS in February 2023 as the Database Associate.

In this role, she works with all departments and helps ensure the integrity of the data being entered into our systems. Before joining ACS, Monique was a public-school teacher in Florida. She primarily worked with students with varying exceptionalities and advocated for their rights to have reasonable accommodations at school.

Monique is also proud to have been one of the founders of Orlando Girls Rock Camp (a member of the larger Girls Rock Camp Alliance). She recalls fond memories of helping the younger campers learn about their instruments, form bands, write original songs and perform on stage in front of their family and friends.

In her spare time, Monique likes to play the guitar and drums. She shares her life with her amazing husband and two very pampered greyhounds.
