Labor and a Just Economy with Professor Sharon Block

Sharon Block, Professor of the Practice and Executive Director of the Center for Labor and a Just Economy at Harvard Law School, joins Duke Law's ACS Chapter for a talk about some of the key labor law cases facing the Supreme Court as well as an update on the structural challenges facing Starbucks workers' unionization efforts. Beyond her academic expertise, Prof. Block has held key labor policy positions across the legislative and executive branches of the federal government, and launched the Clean Slate for Worker Power project, a comprehensive policy initiative aimed at fundamentally redesigning labor law.
