The Trans Ban - A Tragedy at the Troops' Expense
Emma Shinn, a transgender woman, served in the Marine Corps for 20 years before retiring in 2014 and now has her own law practice in Castle Rock, Colorado. She served in several capacities for the Marine Corps and was deployed all over the world, including in Fallujah during Operation Phantom Fury. Emma hopes to be able to return to active duty, but with President Trump’s transgender military ban, she is uncertain about her future. Emma has become a tremendous advocate for transgender rights and wants to education others on what the transgender military ban entails and just how detrimental it is to our troops.
This event is co-sponsored between ACS and Outlaws & Allies on March 7 at 12:30.
