Chatting with the Founder of BLSA
The Louis D. Brandeis Chapter of the American Constitution Society is joining the Black Law Student Association to bring an event of great historical perspective and interest to our law school:
"Between 1970 and 1973, a student at the Brandeis School of Law took it upon himself to start the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) chapter at UofL. In honor of Black History Month, come hear how Mr. Aubrey Williams began BLSA despite the racial climate of the time and how he would eventually leave a longstanding impact on the Law School."
Please join us for this opportunity to look into the past, evaluate the present and consider the future of law school from the perspective of a leader in the founding of the student organization developed to build involvement and promote access to Black Law Students.
Food will be served.
