ACS Washington, DC: Transatlantic Reflections on the Power of Technology for Inclusion
Join the German Marshall Fund and the Washington, DC Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society for a coffee conversation with experts on the impact of technology -- in either building or eroding diversity, inclusion and civil rights -- in the Transatlantic partner nations.
We will seek to arrive at a consensus-based summary of recommendations to improve the impact of technology on civil rights and human rights. We will explore such questions as:
- Is technology, such as social media, strengthening or undermining our work as Trans-Atlantic leaders in advancing democracy and inclusion?
- Is our technology ecosystem fully accessible yet to a range of populations, such as people with disability?
- What role will artificial intelligence play in expanding or in eroding civil rights?
- How do we best ensure that technology is utilized in support of the Transatlantic business case for diversity and inclusion?
Featuring:
