Supreme Court Reform : Contexts and Criteria

With Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death and the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to replace her, Americans have begun to debate the institutional limitations of the Supreme Court more seriously than in nearly a century.

ACS is excited to co-host this two part event which will bring together national academic experts to clarify the terms and stakes of the current debate.

This first session will address the constraints and possibilities of the current political context, and the proper criteria for evaluating reform proposals.
