History of Affirmative Action
The Asian Pacific American Law Student Association will welcome William & Mary sociology professor Deenesh Sohoni for a talk on the history of affirmative action and the Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard case, which is widely expected to reach the Supreme Court and potentially upend race-conscious admissions policies in higher education. Professor Sohoni delivered a similar lecture on the main campus last November. We'll be co-sponsoring along with JLSA and MLSA, and the event will be held in Room 119.
