Indigent Defense Roundtable

A roundtable discussion of ideas for improving indigent defense in Travis County and building on the recommendations of the Indigent Legal Services Working Group for the creation of a public defender office. Attending will be Travis County judges, members of the Indigent Legal Services Working Group, community members, and professors from the LBJ, social work, and law schools. Come to contribute, ask questions, and inform yourself about this constitutionally pressing topic. Hosted by Indigent Defense Group, the registered student organization of Texas Law students interested in public defense and co-hosted by the ACS Student Chapter.
