On Legal Writing with the Hon. Robert E Bacharach (10th Cir)

The ACS UC Berkeley Student Chapter is honored to host the Honorable Judge Robert E. Bacharach for the unique opportunity to hear tips on legal writing from a sitting circuit court judge. In 2020, Judge Bacharach published Legal Writing: A Judge's Perspective on the Science and Rhetoric of the Written Word. Drawing on lessons from his experience on the bench and his research into the science and art of written communications, Judge Bacharach shares his insights on ways language can determine different responses--and how to use this knowledge to craft a powerful and persuasive message.
