Clerkships Chat with Jill Dash, ACS National VP
Join the Stanford ACS Student Chapter we welcome Jill Dash, Vice President of Strategic Engagement at ACS, for a candid Q&A about the navigating the clerkship process, her work, and ACS’s plans for the judiciary. Jill leads ACS National’s work on issues surrounding the judiciary and the rule of law. She also manages ACS’s Path to the Bench Initiative, as well as the ACS nationwide professional pipeline from law students to senior attorneys.
Before joining ACS, Dash was a litigator at Zuckerman Spaeder, LLP in various areas including securities, tort litigation, and civil rights. Previously, she practiced at the Federal Trade Commission Division of Advertising Practices and at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld. She was the President of the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia for 2019-2020. Dash, a first generation college and law student, received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law and her B.A. in American Studies magna cum laude with distinction from Cornell University. She clerked for the Hon. Laura Taylor Swain in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
