Impeachment Lunch Talk

Please join the National Security Law Society and the American Constitution Society Student Chapters at the University of Michigan Law School for a lunch talk on the second impeachment trial of Donald Trump. The event will take place Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 12pm-1pm ET. 

For this event we are proud to host Professors Richard Primus and Barbara McQuade, who will take questions and discuss impeachment, with a particular emphasis on the merits of the case and defenses, the constitutionality of convicting a president that has already left office, and the prospects of alternative measures that aim to bar Trump from seeking future office by incorporating the "insurrection" language of the 14th Amendment.
