The Death Penalty, Wrongful Conviction, and Redeeming Justice
On October 28, Oklahoma ended a six-year moratorium on the death penalty when it, with the Supreme Court’s blessing, executed John Marion Grant. The state is scheduled to execute Julius Jones in just a few weeks, despite a mountain of evidence casting significant doubt on his conviction. Join us for a conversation on the death penalty, wrongful conviction, and the lived experiences of our panelists as they fight to create a more just system for all.
