Developments in Ag-Gag Law
On Wednesday, November 17th, the George Washington Student Chapter of the ACS is holding a virtual discussion about developments in Ag-Gag Law, including recent Courts of Appeal decisions last month addressing the constitutionality of such laws. Ag-gag laws are restrictive statutes passed by conservative state legislatures to limit worker whistleblowing and undercover investigations into the conditions and practices of intensive industrial agriculture.
The discussion will feature panelists David Muraskin of Public Justice, Kesley Eberly of the Animal Legal Defense Fund, and Professor Alan Chen of Denver Sturm Law School.
