B.L., in which the U.S. Supreme Court will decide whether a public school district can suspend a student over comments she made on social media. Ms. Tinker was the plaintiff in the landmark 1969 case Tinker v. Des Moines, in which the Supreme Court upheld her right to wear a black armband to school in protest of the Vietnam War.
