ACS Oregon and Washington State: October Case Discussion

Please join the ACS Oregon and Washington State Lawyer Chapters for a monthly discussion group with other local progressive lawyers about cases of regional or national significance. This month we will be discussing the Washington Court of Appeals, Division I's recent decision in OneAmerica Votes, Et Al. v. Washington. This case, which found that the state's ban of foreign nationals from contributing to political candidates and ballot measures was permissible under the state's constitution, presents an instance of substantive analysis of state constitutional law in deciding between important interests of the parties.
