ACS DC: Labor Law Forum

Join the Washington, D.C. chapter of the Labor and Employment Relations Association (DC LERA) for its Second Annual Labor Law Forum, co-sponsored by the African Labour Law Society and the American Constitution Society DC Lawyer Chapter.

Our distinguished panel of academics and practitioners will discuss the construction and deconstruction of racism at work and in society through time and space, beginning in colonial Virginia and moving through modern Europe, South Africa, and the United States – including what efforts have been made in different countries to eliminate racism in the workplace and society, how historical segregation and exclusion are reconstituted in modern times, and what challenges remain.
