This spring, the ACS Cincinnati Student Chapter hosted multiple events aimed at fostering dialogue and civic engagement. In February, the chapter welcomed Shaakirrah R. Sanders, Professor at Penn State Dickinson Law, and Akhil Amar, Sterling Professor of Law and Political Science at Yale Law School to a Civil Discourse Symposium. The event encouraged attendees to engage in important conversations about sharing ideas, bridging worldviews, and fostering civil engagement both within the College of Law and the broader Cincinnati legal community. Last week, the chapter hosted a Pathways to the Bench event, featuring state and federal, trial and appellate, judges and clerks, political organizers and those with roles supporting the judiciary.
