On September 5, 2008, the Chicago Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society and the Civil Rights and Constitutional Law Committee of The Chicago Bar Association hosted a Supreme Court Term preview panel discussion at the Chicago Bar Association. Panelists Jeffrey Sarles and Barry Sullivan were joined by moderator The Honorable Robert G. Moss, a retired Senior Texas District Judge. The panel discussed cases that will highlight challenges to the limits of the First Amendment, the limits of Fourth Amendment searches incident to arrest and environmental protection.

Jeffrey Sarles is the co-practice leader of Mayer Brown's Supreme Court and Appellate groups. Barry Sullivan is the co-chair of Jenner & Block's Appellate and Supreme Court Practice. Both Sullivan and Sarles are regular guests of the Chicago Lawyer Chapter's Supreme Court programming and we are grateful for their continued contributions.

The Chicago Lawyer Chapter would like to thank Judge Robert Moss for moderating and Andrew Smith and his colleagues at the CBA's Constitutional Law Committee for their help organizing the event and providing CLE credit.
