Courtney Healey joined ACS in March 2008. Before coming to ACS she worked as an Associate in a DC government relations and public affairs firm. Prior to that, she was politically active in the campaign world and was Co-Regional Director (Northern Colorado) for Coloradans For Fairness. This organization supported a statewide referendum that would afford basic legal rights to same-sex couples.

Courtney graduated magna cum laude from Colorado State University with degrees in Political Science and Sociology as well as certificates in Diversity in Law and International Development. During her undergraduate years she was active on campus and served as Student Body President.
